In a podcast interview with Elizabeth Anderson. 🎙️

In 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 #𝟭𝟰 of my 𝗽𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 »𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆𝟯𝟲𝟱« I speak to her about 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲, when she was born, how her parents and friends reacted to her transformation, 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗩𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 and what it means, that gender roles matter in a particular way.

We talked about 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗘𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱, about differences of different nations regarding the DEI subject, we 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in this regard, #𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 have to do with with it all.

Liz enlightened me with the 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 »𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆«, »𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆« 𝗮𝗻𝗱 »𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆«! We spoke about why white middle class cis woman often reproduce racism in our society and yet again how important it is for those to be allies.

Liz knows: »Companies should hire for differences, not for diverse people!«

Thank you so much Liz, for such an eye-opening and authentic conversation! The plea to us all: »𝗕𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁.«
